Lavender Locksmith was created to offer something different: a locksmith and security service that’s built on trust, empathy, and inclusion. Too many women, queer folks, and marginalized people have felt uncomfortable, dismissed, or even unsafe a contractor. We're here to change that.

We’re proudly woman-owned, LGBTQ+ affirming, and deeply committed to making sure every client feels respected, empowered, and welcome — not just safe, but seen.

At the heart of Lavender Locksmith is Lauren Radziejewska — an mechanically inclined artist and former nurse who saw firsthand how rare it is to find security professionals who understand the deeper emotional side of safety. Driven by her own experiences and the stories of people around her, Lauren left her old life behind to begin a bold second act: becoming one of New York City’s only female and queer locksmiths.

Now, based right here in NYC, Lauren and Lavender Locksmith bring technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and a deeply human approach to every call. We believe in clear communication, mutual respect, and showing up with kindness — plus just the right touch of quirky charm.

Because safety shouldn’t come with strings attached. It should feel like home.
